Autumn Walk

On 21st October 2014, a blustery yet sunny day, our primary school pupils participated enthusiastically in their annual Autumn Walk at Kilbroney Forest Park.  Bundled up in coats, hats and gloves, and with ‘wellies’ (for stomping in puddles, etc) on their feet, they became ‘intrepid explorers’.  Pupils used their senses to explore – particularly touch as they collected various items for a linked creative craft activity – and identified conkers, acorns, sycamore keys and various species of leaves.  Afterwards, they enjoyed playtime in the play parks.  A special highlight was buying yummy, sweet treats at the cafe!  Memory snapshots of their day out were photographed (sometimes secretly) by designated pupils.

Col 1:16 ~ “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth. . . all things were created through him and for him.”
